Our top quality 4 star hostel is located in the historic part of Stirling. Build behind the facade of a historic church next to the Old Town Jail, it offers superb en-suit rooms, modern facilities, and a friendly international atmosphere. Stirling is steeped in history and played an important role in the Scottish war of independence. Two big battles were won by the Scottish in front of Stirling's city gates in the 13th and early 14th century by William Wallace and Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland. Stirling Castle, pubs, restaurants, the shopping mile, and city centre are all reachable within a 5 minute walk. If you step over the hostel's threshold you take a step back in bygone times. Surrounded by historic buildings, the old city wall of medieval times and old cannons that decorate the townscape, the hostel has a brilliant location in one of Scotland's most beautiful cities.
Our 126-bed hostel is well-equipped with an excellent self-catering kitchen, a common room with billiard table, TV, and internet access, a conferencing room and all rooms and dormitories are en-suit and well furnished.
Stirling is also an ideal location for visiting Glasgow (30 miles) and Edinburgh (40 miles) or for a trip up north into the Highlands or west to Loch Lomond (30 miles). It is only a 8 minute walk to the train station and the next bus stop only 5 minutes away.
